Internal Certificate of Conformity – BlazeBlock Fire Prevention Spray Ramps

Our products comply with Directive 2001/95/EC on general product safety.

They have been individually tested to safely withstand the required operating pressures and the various thermal variations related to their intended functions.

The nozzles are certified for outdoor use, and installation must be carried out according to the instructions provided.

1. Product Identification​

360° water spraying or automatic irrigation around a house or tiled structure to help reduce the spread of an external fire.

Private individuals or professionals (fixed or mobile installation)

2. Technical Description​

Number of nozzles:
3 – 4 – 6 – 9 (depending on configuration)

Total spray angle and diameter:

  • Hydrodome: 360° – nozzle diameter 2.9 / 3.3 mm

  • Hydrojet: 360° – 2 nozzles (2.9 / 3.3 / 3.6 mm) and 2 automatic rotary sprinklers (4 mm)

Nozzle material:
Aluminium

Nominal flow rate:
90 litres/min, expandable up to 150 litres/min for a 3 Hydrodome ramp configuration
(approximately 5,000 to 9,000 litres per hour)

Maximum supported pressure:

  • Up to 16 bar for nozzles

  • Up to 5 bar for rotary sprinkler systems

Spray projection distance:
3 to 5 metres per nozzle (depending on pressure and hose diameter)
Approximately 10 metres for Hydrojet

Installation:
Roof installation with 360° coverage (roof centre mounting), on a solid support without drilling roof tiles

Swimming pool, domestic water supply, water tank, reservoir, well, etc.

4. Risk Assessment and Safety Measures

Potential risks:​

Overpressure risk -
Nozzles and components tested and rated up to 16 bar. Risk analysis and safety measures implemented.

Risk of falling during roof installation -
Installation may be carried out by the customer or by our team. Clear installation instructions are provided.

 

Risk of burns in the event of a nearby fire -
Even with optimal protection, evacuation must always be carried out if requested by authorities.

 

Risk of damage caused by UV exposure or corrosion -
Use of weather-resistant materials.

5. Applicable Standards and Regulatory Compliance​

BlazeBlock products, also marketed under the names Hydrodome and Hydrojet, have been designed in accordance with the essential safety requirements defined by applicable regulations, particularly the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

The following standards have been considered during product design, manufacturing, and risk assessment:
