Additive Enhanced Water Barriers Against Wildfires and Vegetation Fires
Hydrojet is a water-spraying ramp designed to support and reinforce the action of Hydrodôme. While Hydrodôme provides direct protection for the home or structure by counteracting thermal radiation and creating a continuous water barrier around it, Hydrojet acts as a complementary system, projecting water farther out directly onto the surrounding land.
In the video featuring Hydrojet, several models were being tested. These models are not sold as individual kits, as their effectiveness depends on their combined use with a Hydrodôme, which is essential for counteracting thermal radiation directed towards the home.
Why Choose Blazeblock Ramps?
✅ Affordable Protection
With us, there is no need for trenches, and professional installation by our team is not mandatory.
Our portable ramps can be easily installed on your roof, connected to a water pump, and activated when a fire risk arises.
Naturally, we adapt our offers according to each customer’s specific requirements.
✅ An Autonomous Shield
Connected to a water source, whether a swimming pool, tank, reservoir, cistern, or well, the Hydrodôme and Hydrojet systems remain fully operational, even when you are away.
As long as water is available, your home continues to protect itself.
✅ A Commitment to Everyone’s Safety
Also designed for homeowners and small businesses, Hydrodôme and Hydrojet are accessible, modular, and ready-to-use solutions.
✅ A Step Towards Protecting the Planet
Slowing the spread of fire also means protecting our forests, wildlife, and landscapes, while reducing the environmental impact of wildfires.
✅ An Investment in Your Peace of Mind
Because protecting your home and your memories is priceless.
An Active Cooling System for Your Home
Hydrodôme and Hydrojet create a protective envelope capable of absorbing and dispersing the heat from a fire while keeping surfaces wet to delay or prevent ignition.
A vegetation fire can damage your home without ever touching it directly.
Thermal radiation and embers alone can cause a structure to ignite several metres away from the flame front.
Near an intense fire, a façade can reach several hundred degrees within minutes, potentially triggering self-ignition.
Like a cooling fluid, our system sprays additive-enhanced water around your home to absorb and dissipate heat before it reaches the structure.
Water evaporation creates a natural thermal barrier that significantly limits the rise in temperature.
Two Complementary Solutions
Hydrodôme: installed on the roof, it creates a circular 360° water curtain to protect the entire home against heat and embers.
Hydrojet: adjustable and modular, it helps wet the ground and vegetation around the house to slow the spread of fire.
Enhanced Effectiveness Thanks to the Bio For Additive
The additive improves water adhesion, slows evaporation, and increases its ability to absorb heat.
The result: longer-lasting and more effective protection against embers and extreme temperatures.
⚠️ An effective complementary solution that does not replace personal safety measures
Hydrodôme and Hydrojet are not rescue devices and are not intended for personal protection.
They do not replace evacuation in the event of danger, as weather conditions can sometimes worsen the situation, for example strong winds that may increase the intensity of the fire.
Hydrodôme and Hydrojet are designed to protect homes and structures against the rapid spread of fire, whether caused by flying embers or by the thermal radiation of the fire, while awaiting the intervention of emergency services, which may sometimes take a considerable amount of time during major wildfires.
They help prevent homes from igniting due to flying embers and approaching flames, while significantly reducing the impact of heat on structures.
Our system uses the principle of evaporative cooling: at a pressure of 5 bar, each ramp sprays between 40 and 50 L/min of water, part of which evaporates instantly, absorbing up to 600 kW of heat and keeping surface temperatures around 100°C, well below the self-ignition threshold.
